Trigger Point Therapy w/Massage Cupping for Pain Management

A truly unique way to approach muscle pain! This massage utilizes vacuum cupping equipment that produces a deep sensation felt through several layers of tissue. This technique encourages trigger points and ’stuck’ muscles to release, using negative pressure, resulting in a reduction of chronic pain without the painful ‘digging’ feeling associated with traditional trigger point therapy. Cups can also be placed along meridian/acupressure points and left for a short time to relieve stagnant ‘chi’ (energy).  Cups may induce temporary, slight discoloration or bruising for a short time. Your Therapist works with the tissue to encourage the tense spots to release, eliminating the degree of tenderness felt after the session.

Cloud Nine

You will be whisked into bliss during this 90 minute session. Your session begins with an aromatic foot bath, followed by a salt glow exfoliation. Your experience will continue with a one hour aromatherapy massage, using soothing and relaxing techniques designed to rid the body of stress and tension. You will be given a choice of lavender, jasmine, or rose essential oils along with an explanation of the benefits of your choice.
